Terms and Conditions (AGB)

These terms apply to all lessons and packages booked with MeinKorean.

1. Payment

• All lessons must be paid before the session.

• Packages must be fully paid at the time of purchase.

2. Cancellation Policy

To ensure fair scheduling for all students:

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the lesson.

• Cancellations within 24 hours are counted as completed.

• No-shows are considered completed lessons and are non-refundable.

3. Rescheduling Policy

(Package-Specific Rules)

A) 4-lesson package (1 month)

Because the duration is short:

• You may reschedule 1 time per package

• Requests must be made 24 hours in advance

• Within 24 hours → counted as completed

• Validity cannot be extended for personal reasons

B) 8-lesson package (1 month)

• You may reschedule up to 2 times during the package

• Requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance

• 24-hour rule strictly applies

• No extensions for personal reasons (travel, work, exams, etc.)

C) 12-lesson package (3 months)

• Up to 4 reschedules allowed during the entire package

• All changes must be requested 24 hours before the session

• Remaining sessions expire after 3 months

• No extensions for personal reasons

D) 16-lesson package (3–4 months)

• Up to 4 total reschedules allowed

• Must be requested 24 hours in advance

• Valid for up to 4 months

• No extensions except in documented medical cases (optional, at teacher’s discretion)

4. Emergency Situations

Unexpected emergencies (e.g., sudden illness, urgent work issue)
→ may be accepted once per package
→ only if notified before the session starts.

Exceptions are granted at the teacher’s discretion.

5. Package Validity

All packages have fixed validity periods:

• 4 lessons → 1 month

• 8 lessons → 1 month

• 12 lessons → 3 months

• 16 lessons → 3–4 months

Unused lessons expire automatically after the validity period.

No extensions for personal reasons (travel, schedule conflicts, exams, work changes).

6. Student Responsibilities

Students are responsible for:

• Managing their package validity

• Ensuring stable internet and working devices

• Joining lessons on time

• Checking their schedule before booking

If technical issues occur on the student’s side,
the session will be considered completed.

7. Learning Materials

All materials provided in lessons are for personal use only.
Sharing, copying, or distributing them is not permitted.

8. Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht – Germany)

• You may cancel your booking within 14 days if no lesson has taken place.

• If the service begins immediately upon your request,
  your statutory right of withdrawal may expire once the lesson starts (§356 Abs.5 BGB).

9. Liability

MeinKorean is not responsible for:

• Internet issues

• Device problems

• Software or platform issues on the student’s side

If such issues prevent a student from attending,
the lesson is counted as completed.
